From an early age my appetite for learning and conquering new tasks led me down many different paths on the way to art direction. The voracity with which I consumed knowledge and skills would only be matched by the fervor to share and express these newfound abilities. Not only do I have a passion for learning, but also the ability to express new information in an easily understood language. I strive to become someone in my field that gains the utmost respect from my peers and colleagues for dedication to learning.
Professionally I liken myself to a hybrid of a corporate executive, a 4-star general, and entrepreneur. I understand the benefits of an executive pragmatism in separating the theoretical from the practical. I eagerly look for opportunities to lead and take on responsibilities, as well as naturally commanding and motivating those around me to succeed.
My professional values demand efficiency and proficiency. I put forth all of my effort in whatever tasks lay before me. Those who value honesty and truth, even when it may create conflict, garner the utmost respect from me. My mother's quote of, "Say what you mean, mean what you, and follow through on both," remains a pillar in my life.
In order to keep myself mentally fit I regularly create projects for myself to test my learning capabilities. Currently, I am teaching myself animation, streaming and video production. Learning new skills, especially if they are self-taught, requires the ability to discern what is necessary to accomplish any goals I have in the project.
When I am not training my mind, I train my body with a variety of workouts and activities. You can find my trail riding on my mountain bike, attending yoga in the park or practicing new dance moves in the studio.
